Volunteer

Join the Hat Art Club’s board of directors or a steering committee and have a say in shaping the future of the club.

We are actively recruiting members for the following roles in club leadership:

  • President

    Committee members for:

  • MEMBERSHIP

  • Facilities

  • Communications (skills in professional social media Marketing, communications and community management highly desired)

Membership Terms & Conditions

  1. You must be a minimum of 18 years of age to become a member.

  2. Individuals joining the club must complete the Hat Art Club Membership form.

  3. Membership runs from April 1 in the year purchased to March 31 of the following year (unless otherwise stated).

  4. Memberships are non-refundable must be paid on or before March 31 of each year. Should an extraordinary and exceptional circumstance arise, a member may make a request for special consideration.

  5. Full payment for membership is due at the time of joining.

  6. All studio members in good standing are invited to:

    • Attend Special and General meetings of the Hat Art Club Society

    • Speak and make motions at these meetings

    • Stand for election to a position on the Board of Directors

    • Serve as a committee member

    • Vote at all Special and General meetings

    • Attend all educational programming, workshops and special events at the fees established for Studio Members

    • Apply for studio storage space (subject to availability and additional fees)

    • Members may participate in all juried and non-juried exhibitions when they have met the mandatory volunteer requirements or met the special conditions aligned with each show.

    • Receive communications regarding club activities

  7. Studio Members must uphold and abide by all bylaws, rules, regulations and policies of the Hat Art Club Society

  8. Studio Members are responsible for advising the Society and ensuring their contact information is up-to-date.
