Art Chats: A Positive and Encouraging Virtual Gathering

Are you interested in being part of a supportive artistic community? The Hat Art Club Art Chat Spring Session might be the right place for you! These monthly inclusive Zoom gatherings are hosted by club volunteers, and provide members with an opportunity to connect with a creative community. Participants are invited to share current art projects, get and give feedback, ask questions for discussion or just get to know other members.

Art Chat Format and Purpose

Opportunities to gather in person are limited, but connecting with other artists for support, encouragement and artistic feedback is still an option. Sharing your art can be a vulnerable thing, but it can also be incredibly rewarding and create opportunities for growth and connection. We strive to make monthly Art Chats a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. Showing work during Art Chats is entirely voluntary, and artists of all levels and abilities are welcome to participate.

We will be offering a Tuesday session (11:00 am MST) and a Saturday session (3:30 pm MST) the third week of each month. Session run about an hour and a half and have a maximum of 12 participants in order to ensure everyone attending has a chance to contribute. If spaces fill up, additional sessions may be considered.

Artistic Feedback

In an attempt to enrich our Art Chat beyond β€œI like it” and to deepen the level of art discussion, participants are encouraged to consider the TAG format for peer review.
