Beginner Watercolours

  • Watercolour paper sized 10” by 14” (a little larger or smaller is fine)

  • Masking tape

  • A board slightly larger than your paper to tape your paper to is handy, but not essential

  • Watercolour tube paints are preferred, but the dried pallet watercolour paint sets will work. Colours must at a minimum include black, brown, yellow ocher, red, blue, yellow & green.

  • 05 Black Fine Line Permanent Ink Pen

  • Masking fluid

  • A tube of white Gouache paint

  • A selection of watercolor brushes; with at least one large round, one small round for fine detail and one mid-size flat brush. Below is an affordable set from Michaels that includes all the brushes you will need:
